The late Margaret R. Nagy and John C. Nagy were highly
regarded long-time residents of Willistown Township,
occupying the home at Sugartown Road, affectionately known
as “Chimney Corners,” for over 40 years. John, a well-known
local historian and collector, founded Historic Sugartown,
Inc., whose purpose is the preservation of the historic
Sugartown complex. John also published a comprehensive
history of Willistown Township entitled “Acres of Quakers”
in 2006. Margaret was also an esteemed member of The
Historic Sugartown, Inc. board as well as a dedicated member
of the Chester County Hospital Board of Directors and the
Willistown Auxiliary.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
1.
DESCRIPTIONS
WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC. has endeavored to accurately
describe all items being sold, but all property is being
sold “AS IS”, “WHERE IS”. No statement in any
invoice, bill of sale, or elsewhere by any representative or
person in the employ of WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC., shall
be deemed a warranty, representation, or assumption of
liability with respect to age, condition, size, quality,
variety, importance, provenance, material of manufacture,
metal content or assay, stone identification, weight, or
size measurement, or historical relevance of any of the
items offered for sale.
2. BIDDING
The Auctioneer retains the discretion to change increments
and further reserves the right to reject any bid or raise in
bid. WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC. reserves the right to
withdraw any property prior to the Auction.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
All accounts are to be settled by the end of the day.
Payment shall be in cash, cashier’s check or personal and
business checks with proper identification and made payable
to WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC. AND DATED FOR THE SPECIFIC
DATE OF THE SALE. In any event, WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC.
reserves the right to hold all or some of the merchandise
purchased until good payment is received with all items to
be removed at the purchaser’s expense. A service charge of
$25.00 will be charged for any returned check. We DO NOT
accept any Credit Cards.
4. DISPUTES & TITLE TO GOODS
In the event of a dispute, the Auctioneer will be the final
judge as to which Bidder is successful. The Auctioneer may
at his sole discretion, re-open the bidding on a particular
item. Title shall pass on all items sold when the Auctioneer
says “SOLD”. The Purchaser assumes total and full
responsibility for all goods at that time, and is
responsible for payment for all items whether or not the
Purchaser actually takes possession at that time. If any
dispute arises after the conclusion of the Auction, the
records of the Auctioneer and Clerk shall stand as
conclusive. Any loss or damage by breakage, natural
disaster, theft or any other cause is therefore the sole and
entire responsibility of the Purchaser.
5. BUYER’S PREMIUM & SALES TAX
Each Lot sold is subject to a
17% Buyer’s Premium which will be added to the
successful bid price of each Lot and is payable by the
Purchaser as part of the total purchase price.
There is NO 6% Pennsylvania sales tax added
to items bought at an on-site auction.
6. REMOVAL OF GOODS
All property is to be removed from the premises on the sale
date at the risk and expense of the purchaser, subject to
limitations stated at the time of sale. Any items left at
the sale site are left there at the purchaser’s risk. The
Auctioneer assumes no responsibility for abandoned items.
7. ERRORS OR OMISSIONS
WIEDERSEIM ASSOCIATES, INC. is not responsible for any
typographical or other error or omission in any advertising
connected to this sale.
8. AGREEMENT TO TERMS OF SALE
By registering for this sale, and bidding on any item
contained therein, all bidders agree to abide by and accept
the Terms of Sale.

bidding. Bring your own chair and packing material.
